BreathFlow Dynamics is a journey into the ancient wisdom of the breath and its powerful union with biofeedback and embodied technology.

Breathwork Program Overview

Greg and Yati explored the benefits and practices of breathwork as a spiritual and health-enhancing tool, discussing its potential to improve mental clarity, chemical balance, and cognitive function. They detailed a 90-day breathwork certification program that combines weekly Zoom sessions with daily practice requirements, focusing on personal transformation and the development of facilitation skills.

Meet the Instructor: Yati Or

    Yati Or

    Breathwork Guide | WHM Instructor | Co-Architect of Thrive Beyond Breath Protocols

    Yati Or is a pioneering breath work guide, founder of Breathflow Dynamics, and the first certified Wim Hof Method Instructor in Costa Rica -- personally trained by Wim Hof himself. He has developed specialized protocols combining breathwork, cold exposure, and sauna therapy to support nervous system regulation, emotional healing, and chronic health recovery. 


    Born in Bulgaria and raised in Israel, Yati has spent over two decades immersed in the healing arts, studying Ayurvedic medicine, massage therapy, yoga, and meditation. Since 2004, he has lived and taught in Pachamama, an ecological community in Costa Rica, where he facilitates deep transformational work rooted in presence, resilience, and brotherhood. 


    As a key collaborator in the design of Thrive Beyond's programming, Yati brings a rare syntheses of ancient breath traditions and modern physiology, helping guests reconnect with their vitality, balance, and inner power -- one conscious breath at a time.

    Week 1: Foundational Breath Education

    We begin by returning to the most essential -- your natural breath. In this opening week, you'll explore the difference between natural and controlled breathing, reconnecting with the raw intelligence of your respiratory system. 


    You'll study the anatomy of the breath- - diaphragm, lungs, and the role of the vagus nerve -- to understand how breath impacts strength, focus, and recovery. 


    You'll also establish daily breath training protocols: founding drills, posture alignment, and nervous system resets that sharpen awareness and build inner discipline. This is your foundation -- practical, powerful, and rooted in direct experience. 

    Week 2: Nervous System Literacy

    This week is about mastering your inner terrain. You'll dive into the essentials of Polyvagal Theory to understand how your nervous system responds to stress, challenge, and connection. 


    Through breath coherence practices, you'll learn to shift out of fight-or-flight and into grounded presence -- not by force, but through precision and awareness. 


    This module introduces powerful tools to regulate your energy, stabilize your emotions, and build a deep sense of inner safety and resilience -- the kind that holds steady under pressure and supports clear, decisive action.  

    Week 3: Somatic & Embodied Listening

    This week is about tuning into the intelligence of your body through breath. You'll develop the skill of reading internal signals, tension, energy glow, and subtle shifts, to better understand how your system responds in real time. 


    Using breath as your guide, you'll refine body awareness, shaprpen focus, and build alignment from the inside out. 


    The Somatic practices enhance your ability to stay present under pressure, move with precision, and access deeper reserves of strength and clarity. 

    Week 4: Holding Space - Self First, Then Others

    Before you can guide others through breath work you must learn to hold space for yourself with steadiness, presence, and integrity. 


    This week explores what it truly means to facilitate -- not by fixing or controlling, but by embodying calm, awareness and trust in the process. You'll practice grounding techniques, clear energetic boundaries, and breath-led presence to stay connected even during intensity.


    From this anchored state, you begin to understand how to witness others, read the room, and support transformative journeys. Learning to hold space for yourself is the foundation for becoming a skilled, heart-led facilitator. 

    Week 5: Energetic Presence & Boundaries

    This week focuses on cultivating the unseen but deeply felt layer of facilitation -- your energetic presence. You'll learn breath-based centering and clearing techniques to anchor yourself before, during, and after holding space. 


    Through simple but powerful practices, you'll strengthen your energetic field, sharpen your awareness, and develop the capacity to stay clear and grounded in any environment. 


    This is about preparing who you are -- not just what you do -- so that your presence becomes a steady, supportive force for others to safely explore and transform. 

    Week 6: Buteyko & Breath for Resilience

    This week introduces the science-backed approach of Dr. Buteyko's Method -- a system designed to restore optimal breathing patterns and build physiological resilience. 


    You'll explore the power of nasal breathing, improve your CO2 tolerance, and practice breath-holds to strengthen your nervous system and metabolic efficiency. 


    These techniques train the body to operate with less effort and more control, using the breath as a precise tool to access calm, sharpen focus, and boost long-term vitality. 

    Week 7: Rebirthing & Holotropic Exploration

    This week, we step into the transformative realm of conscious connected breath work-- a powerful method for accessing non-ordinary states of awareness. You'll experience how continuous, rhythmic breathing can unlock deep layers of emotion, memory, and insight stored in the body. 


    With a strong emphasis on safety, integration, and somatic release, you'll learn how to navigate expanded states with clarity and grounding. These sessions offer a direct experience of the breath as a gateway to healing, insight, and profound inner shifts.  

    Week 8: Breath & Visualization

    This week combines the breath with the mind's inner imagery to unlock new dimensions of healing, clarity, and creative power. You'll learn guided breath-visualization techniques that activate the imagination as a tool for intention, tranformation, and nervous system regulation. 


    By pairing breath with focused inner vision, you can access flow states, rewire limiting patterns, and direct your energy with purpose. This is where breath becomes not only a physical practice, but a bridge to your inner landscape and creative potential. 

    Week 9: Voice & Expression Through Breath

    This week explores the intimate connection between breath and voice -- your most primal instrument of expression. You'll engage in breath practices that open and energize the vocal channel, including humming (Bhramari Pranayama) to soothe the nervous system, Anulom Vilom for balancing breath flow and mental clarity, and Kapalabhati to awaken your inner fire and vocal energy. 


    These practices not only support vocal freedom and confidence, but also help you speak, guide, and express from a grounded, authentic place.

    Week 10: Integration & Vision Tracking

    On this week, we bridge breath work with measurable progress and lifestyle integration. You'll learn how to work with biofeedback tools like Apple Watch, WHOOP, or Oura Ring to track key metrics such as heart rate variability (HRV), sleep cycles, and breathing trends -- not as something to depend on, but as mirrors that help you understand your internal state more clearly. 


    When used consciously, technology becomes a supportive ally, helping you refine intuition rather than replace it. 


    You'll practice integrating breath into your daily rhythm as a way of living with more presence, recovery, and aligned momentum toward your personal vision -- with or without a device.

    Week 11: Embodied Reflection & Inner Initiation

    This week marks a turning point -- a deep breath in to reflect, integrate, and honor how far you've come. 


    Through a 60-minute guided breath journey, you'll revisit your own evolution: physically, emotionally, and energetically. 


    You'll explore how consistent breath practice initiates real cellular and molecular shifts, impacting your resilience, focus, and presence. This is a space to ebody the work, listen inwardly, and recognize the transformation that's already been unfolding inside you.

    Week 12: Stepping Into Service

    In our final week, we shift from inner transformation to outward offering -- anchoring the journey by stepping into service. 


    You'll explore how personal healing becomes the foundation for holding space for others, and begin defining your unique voice as a facilitator. 


    Through group storytelling, reflection, and shared celebration, we honor each individual path while weaving a collective field of purpose and commitment. This closing module is both as initiation and a reminder: the breath continues -- and now, you carry it forward.
