In the midst of a busy and chaotic world, it can be difficult to find inner peace. However, through meditation, mindfulness practices, and connecting with nature, it is possible to cultivate a sense of calm and tranquility.
Your body knows what to do. However, we need to set the scene. We have to choose to stop giving our power away to people and things outside of ourselves.
This is basic, but important enough to note. You can start a natural healing process by paying closer attention to these daily practices:
Forgiveness can be a difficult and challenging process, but it is also incredibly powerful. By letting go of anger and resentment, we can free ourselves from negative emotions and move forward with compassion and understanding.
Everyone wants to have a good time and find happiness. We gravitate towards that concept. Nobody says, "Hey! Let's get together this weekend and face our fears!" However, sometimes that's exactly what we need to do. In the spiritual world, we call this shadow work.
I can speak from experience that shadow work is difficult. We have to face the ugly reality of our lives and come to acceptance so we can make a change. This is hard work. I have a huge, hopeful message for you! The resistance you feel to face your fears is the hardest part. Once you sit down and do the process, you will realize there was nothing to fear in the first place.
It's common that the cave we do not want to enter holds the greatest treasure.
Forgiveness is magical process of honor, acceptance, and letting go. We actually see, honor and release what is no longer serving our highest good. This is like taking out the garbage. We make space for something new.
Simply seeing the garbage for what it is and removing it from our life can have the greatest healing effect on our mind, body, and spirit.
Many stories (thousands) tell that simply letting go of negative energy has caused a miraculous healing to occur in the body. After all, the body is one way that Spirit can send us a message. A chronic pain, illness, or disease can be a message that we need to pay attention to something going on in our life.
Gratitude is a powerful emotion that can shift our perspective and help us find joy in even the smallest things. By cultivating a sense of gratitude, we can increase our overall happiness and well-being.
Lower vibrational energies can't tolerate someone who is practicing gratitude. This is a magical power we all possess and it is so simple.
When we say thank you, we send a vibrational message that, "It is good. It is acceptable. It is functional." We also communicate that more of "this thing that I'm grateful for, is what I desire."
Only have a dollar in your wallet? Give thanks around that dollar. Watch is multiply.
Don't like your job, but it is paying your bills? Give thanks for your ability to pay for the conveniences in your life and watch new job opportunities come your way.
Love your family, but they drive you nuts? Give thanks for the companionship in your life and watch the drama start to diminish.
When you are developing an "attitude of gratitude," you will feel it in your mind, body, and spirit. It will move in you like a force. Sometimes we have to focus on it through meditation. We may have to be more mindful of gratitude in our moment-to-moment or day-to-day.
Do the work necessary to achieve staying in a high vibration of gratitude and watch everything around you transform including your health.
Taking care of ourselves is essential for our physical, emotional, and spiritual health. This can include practices such as exercise, healthy eating, and self-reflection.
I really can't express this enough. You have to pay loving attention to yourself to be healthy. You don't have to be able to afford expensive days at the spa to love on yourself. Loving on yourself can look like going to the beach or having a walk in the woods.
When is the last time you did something specifically and only for you?
Where do you like to be most in the world? Go there. What do you like to do? Do that.
If you truly don't know the answer to these questions, it's time to get to know yourself. Make it a priority to spend time by yourself trying some new things. Develop a relationship with yourself includes knowing what you like and what you do not like.
Self-development works like this:
You will know it's the right thing if you feel incredible happiness in your heart when you think about doing that thing for yourself. Do it. Make it a regular practice.
You cannot be there for others if you are not whole. You cannot be fully present in the world if you are not seeing yourself clearly. You cannot offer love to anyone or anything if you do not first offer it to yourself.
Self-love and self-care are vital to living a happy, healthy, whole life.
It takes time, work, energy and attention.
The path to self-discovery can be a lifelong journey. By exploring our beliefs, values, and passions, we can gain a deeper understanding of ourselves and our place in the world.
To be whole, we must understand the wholeness of ourselves. We must be able to see, honor, and accept ourselves for what we are right now. All of you, the good, bad, beautiful, and ugly, is essential for your life experience. If you do not prefer something, you can change it. If you do prefer something, you can have more of it.
We are, in our essence, a part of the whole. The All, what I refer to as "God," is far beyond what we can conceptualize in a limited mindset. We are a part of The All. The All is inside of all of us.
We must learn about ourselves so that we can learn to fully accept who and what we truly are. Divine acceptance is synonymous with unconditional love. This is our life path and our human experience. We are here to learn how to love and accept unconditionally.
Life before death. Strength before weakness. Journey before destination. -Brandon Sanderson
Connection with others is essential for our well-being. Whether through community, friendship, or romantic relationships, human connection can provide us with support, love, and a sense of belonging.
Everything in our environment is either assisting a natural healing process or bring about dis-ease, dysfunction, and pain.
What does your journey look like right now? Do you need to do something about it?
You are not alone.
